Superior Programmability
Our washers are highly programmable and feature automatic chemical injection. It doesn't matter who does the wash because everything is preprogrammed by item type: bed pads, sheets, blankets, personal items, etc. At CG West, we’ll program your machines and provide chemistry to ensure your best wash and disinfection.
Increased Laundry Throughput
Our Continental Girbau and GI equipment is designed to occupy less space yet deliver increased throughput. Our soft-mount washers reach extract speeds up to 450 G-force for more moisture removal and shorter drying times, while automated feeding, ironing and folding systems reduce labor hours and simultaneously bolster quality and productivity.
Disinfection
Many healthcare facilities want laundry disinfected to lower cross-contamination and infection risk. This is achieved through chemistry, ozone, UV systems or auxiliary electric/steam heating systems. Continental Girbau washers are compatible with all of these. There is also a Disinfection Monitoring Package (DMP) option that monitors and verifies that programmed disinfection parameters are executed. When we meet with you, we will go through different options and their costs to help you find the best one for you.
High-Volume Tunnel Washers
Processing from 1,000-3,000 laundry pounds per hour, Girbau Industrial Continuous Batch Tunnel Washers offer superior production, efficiency and programming flexibility for high-volume healthcare settings.
Ironing Automation
Girbau Industrial and Continental Girbau ironing systems come in a variety of automation capabilities, from flatwork ironers to the CompactPro All-in-One. They all quickly iron healthcare sheets, pillowcases, scrubs and gowns straight out of the washer without dryer preconditioning.
Resident Laundries
When looking to move into a care facility, many people seek those with modern resident laundries. At CG West, we assist care facilities with developing and/or improving their resident laundries with high-performance washers and dryers that operate quietly, are simple to use and require less energy, natural gas and water.
Reduced Utility Costs
LG and Continental Girbau commercial washers use less water and produce high extract speeds for more moisture removal. This cuts resulting dry time by up to 50 percent, which reduces natural gas consumption and dryer wear and tear.
Residents Complete Laundry Faster
Our high-speed machines allow residents to complete laundry in 60 minutes or less. Because more moisture is removed during extract, loads dry more quickly – shortening laundry completion time. This also means resident laundries can accommodate more users each day.
