Established in 2008, Elite Business Investments Corp. (Elite) specializes in business sales and acquisitions, vended laundry brokering, consulting and development, as well as commercial laundry equipment sales and store renovations. Based in Valley Village, Calif., the family operated business is fully dedicated to the success of its customers, according to founders David and Carol Dang, and Adam Harrison.
What sets it apart? “It’s our personal service and the fact that people can call us anytime — seven days a week,” said Carol. “We go the extra mile by helping clients with all the variables of a laundromat. We don’t just retool. We teach our clients how to run it.”
In addition to serving as a partner and the broker for Elite, Adam has been instrumental in setting up the online parts division as well as the route operations. Six additional sales people, including Madison, Carol and David’s youngest son, round out the Elite executive team. All of the agents on the team are licensed to sell real estate — a requirement of the state of California.
While brokering is a significant part of Elite’s services, so is vended laundry management. “David, Madison and Adam also manage stores for several of our clients,” said Carol. “They oversee the employees, service technicians and promotions, in addition to collections and deposits.”
The Elite team holds extensive vended laundry experience. They’ve had a hand in selling and renovating hundreds of them throughout Los Angeles. Carol and David worked more than 20 years for their biggest competitor before breaking away to form a “more service-oriented and customer-focused” company. “Our breakout year, when business started booming, was 2012,” she said. “It was shortly after partnering with Continental. We started doing more remodels, equipment and brokerages.”
